INTRODUCTION
Where Family and The Next Forever Begin
At Clovers Print Goldens, we put family at the forefront of our program with each puppy family who comes our way. We focus on matching each family to their perfect forever puppy through education, temperament evaluations, and our high standards for our program.
We meticulously pair our program based on their health testing completion, their temperament, and workability, ensuring we create the opportunity for our puppies to thrive in their homes. We strive to create long lasting relationships between us, our puppies, and their families for many years to come.
We believe a well-bred dog can change everything for a family. That’s why we raise temperament-tested dark Golden Retrievers who are not only beautiful but stable, social, and ready for real life, whether that means backyard play with your kids or growing into a trusted therapy or service companion.

We’re a small, ethical program in central North Carolina, built on over a decade of experience, AKC Bred with HEART standards, and a commitment to doing things the right way, no shortcuts, ever.
Every puppy we raise is handled daily, evaluated for temperament, and matched with their future family intentionally. We use a blend of Early Scent Introduction (ESI), Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), and a thoughtful combination of BABs and Puppy Culture to build confident, balanced dogs from day one.
Our AKC red golden retriever puppies are more than just pets, they’re part of the family.
There are Golden Retrievers… and then there are dark Golden Retrievers.

What Makes Us Different
We are an AKC-inspected dark Golden Retriever breeder located in central North Carolina, focused on raising temperament-tested red Golden Retrievers for both families and service potential.
As a husband-and-wife team with over a decade of experience, we put everything into raising dogs that are steady, social, and prepared for real life. Our dogs live in the home with us, surrounded by kids, cats, and daily interaction, not isolated in kennels.
All of our dogs are genetically health tested through Embark and have completed OFA certifications. Pairings are intentionally chosen based on structure, temperament, and lineage.
Each litter is evaluated through formal temperament testing to help us match the right puppy with the right family.
We’re proud to raise well-rounded red Golden Retriever puppies who thrive in both companionship and working roles. From day one, our puppies are immersed in a developmental program that includes Puppy Culture and Baxter & Bella foundations.
They’re handled daily, exposed to children, and prepared for the sights and sounds of family life.
